Tanzania Profile
PELUM Tanzania’s main activities revolve around
- Capacity building through organising and participating at local, national, regional and international training workshops on pertinent issues such as GMOs, HIV/AIDS, gender, biodiversity, intercultural communication and research
- Documenting and communicating information through disseminating information through distribution of PELUM publications and the running of a resource centre
- Facilitating networking of farmers by organising exchange visits and small holder farmers’ workshops thereby giving an opportunity to farmers to share experiences and learn from each other.
- Facilitating campaign, advocacy and lobbying through the printing and distributing of booklets and organising capacity building activities on issues such as GMOs Publications
