Our members
We are a membership-based organisation, strengthening our members’ ability to improve farmers’ livelihoods.
We offer support, advice, research, training and networking opportunities to our members.
Our members are mostly African civil society organisations involved in ecological land use although there are some individuals and some international organisations that are members.
Our members actively help to shape PELUM. For example, they:
- Prepare and review country and regional plans and policies
- Host PELUM training workshops and events
- Work with us to advocate for better government policies
- Share good practice amongst the network
- Make up our country and regional boards
Our members adhere to the constitution, values and principles of PELUM.
We have over 200 member organisations in 10 countries:

Organisations join us at the country level, paying an annual fee. To join, please get in contact with the office in your country.
