Helping community voices to speak for themselves |

PELUM Lesotho is taking to the airwaves.
PELUM Lesotho is working with Panos Institute Southern Africa and Radio Lesotho to create radio programmes about rural development issues – in which affected people speak for themselves about issues.
Through the project, people in rural communities will be trained to record programmes. Radio Listen Clubs will be formed and through them people will identify issues for discussion and debate, which will then be collected and aired.
This project is part of a regional project being implemented by Panos Institute Southern Africa with support from the United Nations Democracy Fund over two years. Recorded programmes will be available at Radio Lesotho and Panos Southern Africa website.
