PELUM Tanzania's main activities revolve around: Capacity building through organising and participating at local, national, regional and international training workshops on pertinent issues such as GMOs, HIV/AIDS, gender, biodiversity, intercultural communication and research Documenting and communicating information through disseminating information through distribution of PELUM publications and the running of a resource centre Facilitating networking of farmers by organising exchange visits and small holder farmers’ workshops thereby giving an opportunity to farmers to share experiences and learn from each other Facilitating campaign, advocacy and lobbying through the printing and distributing of booklets and organising capacity building activities on issues such as GMOs
