PELUM Botswana is being revived and has been involved in various meetings and consultations with possible members and other PELUM member countries. It currently has seven member organisations. The elevation of the country into a medium income country on the UN Human Development Index has had its own effect on the growth and sustenance of civil society groups in the country.
